 8.  Generating Waves of Energy

  •  Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Let your arms hang down at your sides.
  • Look straight ahead making sure your shoulders are relaxed and your mind empty of all thoughts.
  • After a few minutes, begin to rise up onto the balls of your feet as you inhale.
  • Allow your body to sink back down onto your heels as you exhale.
  • Repeat the exercise up to 9 times. Then take a short walk around the room to relax your body.

 

 Generating Waves of Energy is designed to maintain vibrant health. It was considered to prevent illness by strengthening both the mind and body. It is intended to strengthen the Qi flow to the spine and brain and is believed to massage the internal organs.

 

 Pushing up on the toes and holding the position one second (two if possible) will dramatically strengthen the ankles and calf muscles.
